This is the game we have been waiting for all season long. It is finally here and we are treated to a fantastic matchup between the 49ers and Chiefs. San Francisco rolls into this game with one of the scariest defenses in the league, and Kansas City comes in with an offense that can score at any moment. This game gives us a little bit of everything we could want as NFL fans and it should be a fantastic game to bet on. The Chiefs are currently listed as a 1.5 point favorite which makes sense considering they have been playing out of their minds for a couple months and have a bit more playoff experience than the 49ers crew after the Chiefs nearly made the Super Bowl last season. Now the fun part about betting the Super Bowl is the seemingly endless list of prop bets that can make the game interesting. I will be playing plenty of these and if I get around to it will share the prop bets that I feel strongly about. But for now, we are going to simply look at the standard bets that we have been picking all season. To me, there isn’t any real insider information that can go into this game. The teams are fairly evenly matched which should give us a good contest. I believe that San Francisco will try to slow the game down by controlling the clock with their run offense and then allowing their defense to slow down Kansas City. I don’t believe this tactic will be extremely successful, as the Mahomes-led Chiefs should be able to still find the endzone against this defense. This leads me to believe that there will be a fair amount of points put up on the board. I think the Chiefs pull it off in the end and wind up covering the 2 point spread. I am picking the Chiefs to win and cover and taking the over on the points total.
Straight Up Pick: Kansas City Chiefs
Against the Spread: Kansas City Chiefs -1.5
Over/Under: OVER 54
