Oakland Raiders v. Detroit Lions
Being that I am a lifetime Lions fan I really want to pick Detroit to win this game. However, since I am a lifetime Lions fan I am fully aware that this is the type of game the the Lions typically screw up. I am torn on this one, because I truly believe that the Lions are a better team than the Raiders are. I can see the Lions jumping out to an early lead, playing too conservatively, letting the Raiders back into it, and then ultimately losing the game in the end. I am hoping I am wrong, but that’s how I landed on this weeks picks for this game.
- Last Meeting – 2015 Week 11 (18-13 Lions Win)
Straight Up Pick: Oakland Raiders
Against the Spread: Oakland Raiders -2 ★★★
Over/Under: UNDER 50.5
Seattle Seahawks v. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Tampa Bay has shows glimpses of greatness on the offensive side of the ball. They can put up a lot of points and move the ball as well as anyone. However, they can turn the ball over better than anyone too. They also have a very hard time stopping anyone on defense. Seattle should be able to win this game, but they have a lot of tough games beyond this one, and may be looking ahead a bit. I think this one might be my upset of the week, as I am taking the Bucs to stun the Seahawks.
- Last Meeting – 2016 Week 12 (14-5 Buccaneers Win)
Straight Up Pick: Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Against the Spread: Tampa Bay Buccaneers +5 ★★★★★
Over/Under: OVER 53
Denver Broncos v. Cleveland Browns
Cleveland still has plenty of talent on their roster, but they have yet to put all the pieces together. Denver continues to lose close games, and this week will be turning to first time starter Brandon Allen at quarterback. Cleveland needs to take advantage of a struggling and hobbled Broncos team if they have any thoughts of making a late season playoff push. I think they get the job done and start climbing back into the playoff race starting this week.
- Last Meeting – 2018 Week 15 (17-16 Browns Win)
Straight Up Pick: Cleveland Browns
Against the Spread: Cleveland Browns -4.5
Over/Under: OVER 39
Los Angeles Chargers v. Green Bay Packers
Aaron Rodgers is putting together an MVP caliber season, as he has figured out how to work with new Head Coach Matt LaFleur en route to a 7-1 start. The Packers head out to Los Angeles this week to play “on the road” against the Chargers. Expect to see Dignity Sports Health Park filled with plenty of Packer support. The Chargers continue to fight, but have not lived up to expectations in 2019. The Chargers might keep it close, but I expect the see Green Bay slide into an 8-1 record after this one is all said and done.
- Last Meeting – 2015 Week 6 (27-20 Packers Win)
Straight Up Pick: Green Bay Packers
Against the Spread: Green Bay Packers -3.5 ★★
Over/Under: UNDER 49
