Upset of the Week
Pittsburgh Steelers (+3.5) over Baltimore Ravens
Pittsburgh finds themselves right back into AFC North conversation after they beat the Bengals last week. The Ravens and Browns are only a game ahead of the Steelers at 2-2. This is Pittsburgh’s big chance to prove that they are still relevant in 2019. Baltimore is reeling after two consecutive losses. Pittsburgh was successful against the Bengals by deploying a dink and dunk style offense to get Mason Rudolph comfortable. In order for the Steelers to be successful this week they will need to take more deep shots and convert in more than one way. Baltimore’s defense is questionable, but will stop a one dimensional offense. If Pittsburgh game plans this appropriately, they could stun the Ravens once again and come away with the upset in Week 5.
Lock of the Week
Chicago Bears (-6) over Oakland Raiders.
Though international games can be a little unpredictable, i think the Bears are well prepared to showcase their defense overseas in Week 5. Oakland has found success in couple games which has resulted in their two wins, but the Raiders will not be prepared to go up against this buzzsaw of a Chicago defense. Chicago should win the field position game, which should set their offense up enough to put up points to win this game and cover the spread. The spread is set at 6 right now, but I am fully anticipating a double digit win for Chicago.
