Los Angeles Rams v. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Rams head into this matchup as heavy favorites thanks in part to their recent dominance at on their home field. They have won 9 out of their past 10 at home, and are matching up against a Tampa Bay team that just dropped one to the lowly New York Giants. Tampa Bay surely has talent, and they appear to have a coaching staff in place that can get this team heading in the right direction. However, the Buccaneers have not been able to play consistent football, highlighted by the inconsistent play of quarterback Jameis Winston.

Interesting Stats:

  • Last Meeting – 2016 Week 3 (37-32 Rams Win)
  • Tampa Bay is 1-6 and 0-7 ATS against the Rams since 2010
  • Los Angeles has won 9 straight home games, going 8-1 Against the Spread

Straight up Pick: Los Angeles Rams

Against the Spread: Los Angeles Rams -10

Over/Under: OVER 49.5

Arizona Cardinals v. Seattle Seahawks

Seattle had every intention of rolling into this matchup with a perfect record. They found themselves meeting a Saints team last week without Drew Brees, which was a perfect opportunity to grab a win from one of the best teams in the NFC. However, the Saints were able to handle the Seahawks with relative ease, despite the final score being close. Arizona, is still looking for their own rhythm and their first win. They have shown flashes and signs of turning things around, but they are not there quite yet. Arizona has a tall task of holding off Russell Wilson and the Seahawks who will come out strong to get the taste of a bad loss out of their mouths.

Interesting Stats:

  • Last Meeting: 2018 Week 17 (27-24 Seahawks Win)
  • Arizona is 1-8-1 at Home over their past 10 games
  • Seattle has won 5 straight Week 4 games (3-2 ATS)

Straight up Pick: Seattle Seahawks

Against the Spread: Seattle Seahawks -5.5

Over/Under: OVER 48

Chicago Bears v. Minnesota Vikings

This is one game that I am very excited for. Both teams have incredible defenses, which leads to the low betting line on the points total. Neither team has looked incredibly impressive on the offensive side of the ball, aside from Dalvin Cook leading the league in rushing for the Vikings. I expect this to be an old fashioned black and blue battle between a couple tough nosed teams. I am giving the Vikings the edge on the road in this one, simply because their offense has shown a little more life than the Bears offense has.

Interesting Stats:

  • Last Meeting – 2018 Week 17 (24-10 Bears Win)
  • Chicago won both games against Minnesota in 2018, prior to that they were 3-8 in the past 11 meetings
  • Over Minnesota’s last 10 games against NFC North opponents, the UNDER has hit 7 times

Straight up Pick: Minnesota Vikings

Against the Spread: Minnesota Vikings +2

Over/Under: UNDER 38

Denver Broncos v. Jacksonville Jaguars

Jacksonville has been the topic of conversation throughout the NFL for a couple weeks now. The Jalen Ramsey drama continues to be a story, as he has yet to be traded. Ramsey’s status is uncertain for this game, because he has not been with the team all week. As far as this game goes on the field, neither team has looked incredibly impressive. Jacksonville had a fairly dominate performance last Thursday against the Titans. Denver has played in some close games, but they don’t appear to have much firepower to win many games this season. If Gardner Minshew can find some more offensive magic for this Jaguar team, they could definitely come away from this game right in the middle of the hunt for the AFC South. If Denver drops to 0-4 though, their season might as well be over (it kind of already is).

Interesting Stats:

  • Last Meeting – 2016 Week 13 (20-10 Broncos Win)
  • The last time the Broncos hit OVER the point total was Week 7 of 2018
  • Jacksonville is 1-9 in their past 10 games against AFC West opponents (3-7 ATS)

Straight up Pick: Jacksonville Jaguars

Against the Spread: Jacksonville Jaguars +3

Over/Under: UNDER 38.5
