Sunday Night Football

Cleveland Browns v. Los Angeles Rams

I don’t believe we have seen the best out of either of these teams yet in 2019. Cleveland showed some promise in their Monday Night victory over the Jets last week, but they still have plenty of bugs to work out to get to where they truly want to be. Despite sitting at 2-0, the Rams have not been dominating either. They won by a narrow margin in Week 1 against the Panthers, then they pulled away from the Brees-less Saints in the second half of last week’s game. Both teams will have a great chance to showcase their talents in the Sunday night matchup. Los Angeles hopes they can prove that there was no Super Bowl hangover and improve to 3-0, while Cleveland intends on making a statement by taking down the defending NFC Champs.

Interesting Stats:

  • Last Meeting – 2015 Week 7 (24-6 Rams Win)
  • Los Angeles is 13-2 SU in their past 15 games as a Road Favorite
  • Cleveland is 3-1-1 in their past 5 as the Home Underdog (4-1 ATS)

Straight up Pick: Los Angeles Rams

Against the Spread: Los Angeles Rams -3

Over/Under: UNDER 49

Monday Night Football

Washington Redskins v. Chicago Bears

Let’s be honest, both of these teams should be entering the Monday Night game at 0-2. However, the Bears were able to pull out a controversial last second win against the Broncos last week. Washington has lost both of their games this year against divisional opponents, and their defense has given up a lot of points. The Bears defense has been stellar, giving up only 24 points in 2 games, but their offense is completely out of sync and can’t seem to find the endzone. Matching up against the Redskins will give the Bears a chance to work out the kinks and get things back on track. Washington will be up against a tough defense who is hungry to keep this team afloat while the offense tries to figure things out. I think the Bears tough defense will be the difference in this one and will hold the Redskins down enough for the Bears O to pull away.

Interesting Stats:

  • Last Meeting – 2016 Week 16 – (41-21 Redskins Win)
  • Washington has lost 4 consecutive games as the Home Underdog
  • Chicago has lost 10 straight games to NFC East Opponents (1-9 ATS)

Straight up Pick: Chicago Bears

Against the Spread: Chicago Bears -4

Over/Under: UNDER 41.5
