Sunday Night Football

Atlanta Falcons v. Philadelphia Eagles

Atlanta enters this game in desperate need of a win against the Eagles. The Falcons were completely shut down in their week 1 game against the Vikings. This team should be an offensive powerhouse, but were limited to 12 points. Philadelphia got off to a very slow start against Washington, but were able to mount a comeback to wrap up their divisional game against the Redskins. A win for Philly here, sets them up nicely with a 2-0 start. A loss for Atlanta would be very troublesome, as the probability to make the playoffs after starting 0-2 is tremendously low.

Interesting Stats:

  • Last Meeting – 2018 Week 1 (18-12 Eagles Win)
  • Atlanta has hit the UNDER 7 out of their past 8 games against NFC East opponents
  • Philadelphia is on a 3 game win streak as Road Favorites (3-0 ATS)

Straight up Pick: Philadelphia Eagles

Against the Spread: Philadelphia Eagles -2

Over/Under: UNDER 52.5

Monday Night Football

New York Jets v. Cleveland Browns

Neither team in this Monday Night Matchup was able to come away from Week 1 with a win. The Jets blew a home lead against the Bills to end up losing 17-16. The Browns were extremely disappointing as they got throttled by the Tennessee Titans 43-13. New York will be playing shorthanded, as quarterback Sam Darnold has been ruled out with Mono. This will be a perfect game for the Browns to take advantage of and get their season back on track. If the Jets come away with this one, the Browns will be in serious jeopardy of living up to the high expectations many had for them heading into the year.

Interesting Stats:

  • Last Meeting – 2018 Week 3 (21-17 Browns Win)
  • New York has lost 5 straight as Home Underdogs (1-3-1 ATS)
  • This will be only the 6th time in the past 10 years that the Cleveland Browns will be a Road Favorite

Straight up Pick: Cleveland Browns

Against the Spread: Cleveland Browns -7

Over/Under: OVER 44
